this weather at all. i've been inside pretty much the whole time, which sucks cause i don't like doing that either. i'm looking forward to going back to arizona. i can't wait to skate and see friends. carl is coming with for a week, and kryger is coming to stay. it's gonna be fun. as usual money is stressing me out. meh, it happens. comes with the territory of being jobless. i wouldn't mind having a job so i wasn't slumming so hard. i don't know. i had some plans for the next year, then they changed, then they changed again, now i have no idea what to do. i'm gonna try and work at woodward again, and then i'm thinking i'm gonna live with eric for a while. i might look into going to school out of state, just because i feel like a change would do me good. st. louis is in the list of possibilities, i haven't completely ruled out arizona, possibly florida again, i don't know. maybe even chicago. maybe sf. maybe new york. i just want to completely change my surroundings, and hopefully shock myself out of the apathetic state i'm in. i doubt it will work. i'll probably opt out of all plans. i'm no good at this.

and as a side note, i wish you would stop being so rude. you've made your position clear, there's no need to beat a dead horse.

5 reasons why skate videos suck these days

Skate videos suck today, maybe you disagree with me, but cousin dry bones doesn't give a fuck what you think. Here are the top five reasons why most skate videos suck today.

5. Life Shots
Face it, Fully Flaired would be a good video if it wasn't 2 hours long. Just by cutting out all the lame ass life shots the video could of been half as long. I don't need to see mike mo's face, or him pushing to no where after every trick. So please do dry bones a favor and save your life shots for art school.

4. Slow mo
This kind of goes hand and hand with the life shots. Please the videos are already long enough, you dont need to slow mo every other trick and show it 3 times, ramping clips was cool in 2002. I'm over it, let me just see the skating for what it is, like if I were there.

3. Hardflips
Ok, plain and simple, if i have to see one more ugly ass hardflip in a video I might just start snake boarding.

2. Hd/dolly footage
Fuck Ty Evans, fuck Hd Cameras, and fuck dollys. If you wanna get into that shit then go to art school for cinematography. Maybe everyones forgot what skateboarding is about, skate videos are supposed to be raw and hi-jinx. Slap a fish eye on your camera and hit the streets, id much rather watch some one filming up close cruising next to the skater, it actually gives you the real feeling of what skateboarding is about. Honestly Baker is one of the only people doing shit right these days, you're not ever going to see beagle strolling a lame ass dolly around.

1. Oldies
And last but not least! Fuck all your god damn oldies music. Every fucking video thats come out in the past few years has used a bunch of oldies songs. Real original guys and not boring at all... Here's an idea, how bout you use music that you actually listen to and not something you picked off the oldies channel, you fucking pussies. There's been so many good parts that were just blown because they used some boring ass oldies song that sounds just like every other oldies song used in skate videos. Enough is enough. PLEASE! stop with the oldies. If you need a good example, watch mystery black and white and let your eyes and ears bleed together.
